JM's Cognac - Baby Batch n°1.

Distiller in the Cognac region, lover of Paris and American bars, I wanted to create a Cognac gourmet, round, powerful Cognac to be enjoyed on the rocks or in cocktail.

To achieve this, we started with a VSOP blend created 4 years ago. It has been maturing in barrel n° 23.
Over the past 2 years, we've enriched this first blend with successive small touches adding batches of Cognac, sometimes older, sometimes younger, to find the ideal balance of power and delicacy.

On the palate, it offers an explosion of intense, delicate flavors, perfect for those who love
sensations. Elegant and versatile, it's equally neat at home on its own or in cocktail, for exceptional moments of sharing.

Tasting from June 8, 2024:

The nose is elegant and powerful, with gourmand, toasty, roasted, vanilla and fruity notes.

The palate is supple and well-balanced, without excessive structure. The alcohol is well without aggressiveness.

Good length.

Grape variety : Ugni blanc.

Crus : blend of Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne, Fins Bois and Bons Bois.

Quality : VSOP.

Ageing : minimum 6 years old in oak barrels.
