Cuvée Louis Alexandre Grand Marnier Cognac Marnier-Lapostolle I La Cognathèque
Louis-Alexandre Marnier-Lapostolle loved old cognacs!
To give a more intense taste to his glass of Grand Marnier, he would add a drop of old cognac.
To pay tribute to him, the Cuvée Louis-Alexandre Grand Marnier was created in 1977, using VSOP cognacs from the best production vintages in the Cognac region, carefully aged in Tronçais oak barrels to obtain more generous and deeper flavours.
Cuvée Louis-Alexandre pays homage to the Belle Époque when the finest cognacs were drunk neat or in elaborate cocktails. Inspired by the cocktails created at the beginning of the last century, we revive the classic recipes of the Sazerac and Sidecar with the excellence of the Cuvée Louis-Alexandre.

Colour: Intense amber with copper and orange highlights.
A nose of candied orange with hints of citrus zest, orange essence and bergamot.
On the palate, flavours of candied orange and macerated citrus fruits, softened by notes of pine and Earl Grey tea.
The finish is very long and intense, a contemporary expression of the warm character of Grand Marnier.
